MICHAEL SATTLER
I started my career in the German Airforce as a maintenance officer heading the Quality Devision at the NATO AWACS E-3A Component in Geilenkirchen, Germany in my final assignment.
After retiring from the airforce, I moved to Switzerland and for 20 years held several management positions in leading Swiss corporate maintenance companies, including a 2 year assignment to Singapore as the managing director of our maintenance facility in Seletar.
For the next 5 years I joined a Zurich based commercial aircraft and engine MRO initially as the head of airframe services and then as the Chief Commercial Officer selling airframe, engine and component MRO services.
Before I started my own consultancy business, I managed a German based composite seaplane development company for 6 months during the Covid related absence of their CEO.
I now want to use my experience gained in over 30 years' working on military corporate and commercial aircraft, engines and components to offer my services for interims management, consulting and coaching to the aviation industry.
